Good Morning! Just a few weeks out from primary.

As life has changed from previous campaigns...I have decided for a new tag line:

"Kindness Matters"

New signs and other material has been ordered. If any one has a "kindness matters" you have witnessed or know I have accomplished, I would ask you comment. Commenting would mean I can use the quote with your initials in future promotions. The goal is to move beyond the partisan rhetoric and demonstrate true, real world leadership.

It is time to run for a 3rd term. I will continue to strive for open communication, continued cooperation, and respectful kindness in all that I do for the city. I will make decisions based in fact to continue to move the city forward so when Codie is Mayor Virginia will be a regional leader and a model of efficiency and good government.

On November 8, 2022, votes will be cast in thousands of races around the country. Each race is special. Each race will steer the next two to four years with ramifications and consequences that will be felt for decades.

In all reality local elections have the most direct influence on the day-to-day living of citizens. This Tuesday, I ask for your vote to be mayor of Virginia. Over the last several months, the support from citizens and neighbors has been overwhelming. The “good luck” and the “I’d vote for you if I lived in Virginia” has brought a sense of purpose and direction to me. I am honored and humbled.

No matter the outcome of Tuesday’s vote, I will continue to serve the citizens and visitors of Virginia with logic and kindness. I will work to continue to move our region forward to be a better place for my children and their children to live. I will continue to honor our past. I will represent the present while looking to our future.
