As we continue to collaborate with partners in our communities, parks, schools, and businesses. Unincorporated East Los Angeles is 7.48 square miles with a resident population of 126,064. Fifty-six deputies are dedicated to providing patrol service to this community. The City of Commerce is 6.7 square miles with a resident population estimated at 12,568. The City is primarily industrial with a da

y time population estimated at 43,367. During peak business hours, it is estimated that approximately 100,000
persons "pass through" Commerce on a daily basis. Thirty-two deputy personnel and one service area manager (Sergeant) are dedicated to providing patrol services to this community. Read more:

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking assistance in locating critical missing juvenile, Nadege Miller. She is a 10-year-old Black female who was last seen on August 18, 2026, at 3:34 p.m., at the intersection of Dennison Street and Ditman Avenue, in the city of Los Angeles.

Miss Miller is 4’ 10” tall, 75 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and white shirt, and blue jeans.

Miss Miller’s family is concerned for her well-being and asking for the public’s help.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking assistance in locating critical missing juvenile, Nadege Miller. Los Angeles County East Los Angeles Station detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an additional sixteen suspects who made forced entry into a business located at the 1130 block of South Atlantic Boulevard, in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles “DBA AutoZone.”

On Sunday, August 9, 2026, at approximately 3:30 a.m., the above suspects made unlawful entry into the business and were involved in a coordinated, mob-like burglary of the store, resulting in significant loss and damage to the business. Investigators believe the suspects may have also participated in the previous day’s burglary at the same location which occurred during a street takeover.

The above photos were taken from footage recovered from the business. Anyone with information about the incident or can identify the suspect(s) is encouraged to contact East Los Angeles Detective Luu or the on-duty Watch Commander at (323) 264-4151.

East LA Detectives Seeking Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspects

Los Angeles County East Los Angeles Station detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying eleven suspects who made forced entry into a business located at the 1130 block of South Atlantic Boulevard, in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles “DBA AutoZone.”

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, at approximately 2:22 a.m., an unknown suspect shattered the entry glass doors and made unlawful entry into the business. Suspects 2 through 11 subsequently entered the business and were involved in a coordinated, mob-like burglary of the business, resulting in significant loss and damage to the business.

The above photos were taken from footage recovered from the business. Anyone with information about the incident or can identify the suspect(s) is encouraged to contact East Los Angeles Detective Luu or the on-duty Watch Commander at (323) 264-4151.

🚨 Parking Enforcement Notice 🚨

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Parking
Enforcement Detail has begun issuing citations for violations of California’s Daylighting Law and will also begin enforcing the Los Angeles County Nonconforming Vehicle Ordinance.

Both violations carry a $63 citation.

The Daylighting Law prohibits parking within 20 feet of the approach side of a crosswalk, helping improve visibility and safety for pedestrians and motorists.

Please be mindful of where you park and help keep our roadways safe for everyone.
