In his vision of a restored city of God in Chapter 45, Ezekiel’s instructions to the princes of Israel reveal to us a two-fold call for righteous governing authority: “put away violence and oppression, and execute justice and righteousness.” The government was called to put away evil (violence and oppression) and pursue good (justice and righteousness). To apply this rightly today, we must examine what our government does from the correct Biblical standpoint. That is where Ezekiel Analysis comes in.
