Dorcas List Do you have a need? Do you have something that you would like to get into the hands of someone that needs what you have?

We are trusting that God will direct the interchange to fulfill that need. We will trust God to guide so that these people may come in contact with each other. Whether you have something to share or know someone who has a need, your input is encouraged.

Dorcas (Acts 9:36-40) was a) a disciple of Jesus, b) a 'do-gooder' (I have been teased and sometimes criticized for being exactly this), c) someone who was dead and has been given new life in Christ, d) a dressmaker, that is, in today's vernacular, someone who creates and/or provides something tangible for a person who has a need.

General information

Dorcas (Acts 9:36-40) was a) a disciple of Jesus, b) a 'do-gooder' (I have been teased and sometimes criticized for being exactly this), c) someone who was dead and has been given new life in Christ, d) a dressmaker, that is, in today's vernacular, someone who creates and/or provides something tangible for a person who has a need. Our goal is to be the catalyst between the person who longs to be a blessing to others and someone who has a need, perhaps a desperate need. We will trust God to guide so that these people may come in contact with each other. Whether you have something to share or know someone who has a need, your input is encouraged.
