While our stations will be staffed throughout the storm and after it is over we will monitor hydrants throughout town and dig them out as needed, we ask that you also help pitch in and take care of the hydrants in your neighborhood. A 3x3 area should be cleared so that we may quickly access the hydrant if necessary during an emergency. A fire grows in intensity every 2 minutes so also having to take away members to dedicate to dig out hydrants hampers our operations greatly. There is a hydrant every approximately 600ft on each block in town, please help us HELP you! Keep your hydrants clean!

The entire City along with Sayreville is experiencing a major power outage. We are unsure of the reason why, please contact JCP&L for any power related needs. Contact 911 for any emergencies but please do not call 911 or the non emergency number at the police station with power related questions as they are aware as well and do not have any restoration times.
