Early Friday morning we gathered with Sunrisers from across the state outside Senator Ron Johnson’s house in Oshkosh, WI to give him a wake up call.

He’s refuses to fight the racial, environmental, and social crises that we’re facing, choosing instead to fight for a dishonest nomination for SCOTUS:

“The American people will decide the direction of the country. Give them a voice on the direction of the court.” – Ron Johnson, in March 2016

We are wide awake. This is our state too, Ron. We will win a society that works for all of us.

We are sickened and angered by the shooting of Jacob Blake last night by Kenosha police. We’re heartbroken for him and his family and holding them in our thoughts, sending strength as he continues fighting for his life.

We’ll be joining our fellow Wisconsinites in the streets today, demanding justice and the systemic change we so desperately need. It is well past time to and dismantle the white supremacy that runs this country.
