Our quick trip to Cebu was meaningful, one I'll forever treasure.

It was a proud Mom moment for me watching Ate Sofia represent her school and give her best at the Escriva Cup Badminton Tournament. Although she didn’t get to advance to the finals, landed 5 out of 12 in the singles category, I'm still so proud of Ate. We cried over the loss for a bit thereafter but as she calmed down, she said “Mom let’s make the most out of this trip”.

She wanted to visit historical places because of her curiosity and love for history.

Habang nag-iikot kami, Noah kept asking the cutest and most random questions like "Will we see cannons? Did the Spanish conquerors play basketball?" 😆

These memories with the kids are etched deeply in me. The joy, curiosity, and awe we see in their eyes while seeing the world for themselves is one of the beautiful things experienced in parenthood. We see the world again through their eyes.

Yesterday’s MIKASalo Feeding Program at Pacita National High School was another beautiful reminder of what community love can do.

Together with our MIKA Women’s Group, we shared not just meals but moments of hope, joy, and connection with our students. Dahil sa bawat batang busog, may kinabukasang mas masigla at mas makulay.

Thank you so much to the Pacita NHS teachers, administration, and students for the warm welcome and cooperation. Maraming salamat sa inyong malasakit at pakikiisa sa ating layuning magbigay-lakas at inspirasyon sa kabataan ng San Pedro. 🤟🏻

Throwback because I’m missing my chubby, smiley baby girl 🩷 It hits me sometimes how fast time flies, now she’s grown into such a beautiful young lady. But no matter how old she gets, she’ll always be my little baby girl.

Yesterday, we at MIKA San Pedro City together with the ART Youth organization, visited our kababayans who are still in evacuation centers after the aftermath of Typhoon . We shared hot meals and clean drinking water, small comforts to help lighten their load during this difficult time.

Salamat po sa lahat ng MIKA and Art Youth members and who volunteered their time and energy, at sa lahat ng ibang volunteers na nakiisa—your kindness truly makes a difference.

Alam ko po na sunod-sunod ang unos, and with another typhoon entering the country, many of us feel tired and worried. Pero tandaan natin: storms will come and go, but our faith, bayanihan, and love for one another will always keep us strong. Sama-sama tayong babangon at magpapatuloy. 🤟🏼

Ang sarap sa puso makita ang dami ng kababayan natin na dumalo sa MIKABuhayan Program Job Fair.

Together with San Pedro City PESO, we were able to bring various companies closer to our job seekers—kasama pa ang SSS at PAG-IBIG na tumulong magbigay ng suporta.

Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng naglaan ng oras at nagtiwala sa programang ito, sa mga aplikante, employers, at partners. Hindi rin ito magiging posible kung wala ang malasakit at suporta ng City Government of San Pedro at ng ating PESO team. 🙏🏼

This is another step towards empowering women, families, and the whole San Pedrense community. Sama-sama, we open more doors of opportunity, hope, and a brighter future. 🤟🏼

Sunday, Game day ready!

As parents, we sometimes get so focused on the score, the win, or the next big goal… but today reminded me of the best advice: “Protect their joy.”

Seeing my son out there, running, smiling, giving his all, hindi lang ito tungkol sa sports. It’s about building confidence, discipline, and heart.
