The Child, Adolescent, and Family Centre of Ottawa (CAFCO) is a bilingual and multidisciplinary group of professionals dedicated to providing a range of health care services for Ottawa families, with a primary focus on mental health. We offer personalised and professional care, with the goal of helping children, adolescents, and their families to develop healthy and fulfilling relationships, groun

ded in the principles of dignity and respect. Due to the collaborative and multidisciplinary nature of our group, we are able to offer our clients unparalleled access to a wide range of therapeutic options. CAFCO was created to respond to a number of needs that, though working in the field and consulting with various groups, its founders identified as existing within the Ottawa area. Our main goals are to be able to offer services in a very timely manner (we return all calls within 48 hours and an appointment is usually offered within a week), with a focus on research-based approaches to treatment. We are also committed to providing services to families in a very warm environment that is non-institutional and as home-like as possible.

The Growth Zone is a skills-focused group designed to support teens in strengthening their executive functioning skills

Over 4 sessions, teens will learn practical, evidence-based strategies to:
✔️ Improve concentration and planning
✔️ Manage time effectively
✔️ Strengthen organization skills
✔️ Build healthy routines (including sleep!)
✔️ Boost independence and self-confidence

This group offers a supportive space and a practical toolbox teens can use in everyday life, at school, at home, and beyond.
