That a wrap on the 2025-26 Legislative Session! This was my 10th year in the California State Assembly, and I am really proud of all the great work we did to improve the lives of all Californias.

Now I’m looking forward to spending the next four months back home with my family and 500,000 constituents I am fortunate enough to represent. See you soon!

It was amazing to be back at Tunitas Creek Beach this morning to celebrate the opening to the public of this breathtaking stretch of California coastline and the legacy and vision of former Supervisor Don Horsley.

Don saw the beauty of Tunitas Creek and believed our coast is one of our greatest shared treasures. Now, and in small part due to $5 million I helped secure in the state budget in 2018, everyone can enjoy this majestic place.

Due to a lack of transparency from companies, millions of parents have no idea what ingredients are in the diapers their babies wear 24/7 for the first few years of their lives. Some commonly used ingredients can be dangerous to their baby’s thinner, more sensitive skin.

This morning, I joined advocates and public health leaders to discuss my bill, AB 1901, which would require diaper manufacturers to clearly disclose all ingredients on the product packaging and online.

Last week, I was proud to join Santa Clara County Supervisor Margaret Abe-Koga for our Youth Mental Health Town Hall in Palo Alto.

Youth mental health continues to be a serious issue in our community and across the state, and we need to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive.

Thank you to all of the students, parents, educators, mental health professionals, and community members who took the time to share their experiences, ask thoughtful questions, and engage in an important conversation about how we can better support the mental health and the well-being of our young people.
