Happy Labor Day, Sierra Madre!

Today, we recognize the City employees whose work supports the services, spaces and programs our community relies on every day. From keeping streets and facilities maintained to providing public safety and community services, their work helps keep Sierra Madre moving.

🏛️ City offices are closed today, Monday, September 7.

Fire, Police, and Public Works remain operational.

Sierra Madre’s water-use requirements ask residents to avoid irrigation for 48 hours after measurable rainfall.

Watering is permitted on assigned days before 6:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m.:

• Even-numbered addresses: Monday, Thursday and Saturday
• Odd-numbered addresses: Tuesday, Friday and Sunday

Bingo is held once a month and is one of our most popular social events. This month, we are welcoming fall with a little pumpkin spice and plenty of fun. 🍂

• Limit 25 sandbags per household
• Bring your own shovel to fill sandbags

The Sierra Madre Fire Department will host its annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony, marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The community is invited to join us in remembering and honoring those who lost their lives and the first responders who served that day.

Help provide input on parks, special events, and community services.

🏘️ Planning Commission — 2 open seats
Help provide input on planning, zoning, development, and land use matters.

Serving on a commission is a great way to get involved and help shape decisions that affect our community.
