Pets are beloved members of most families in Lane County. Don’t forget to include them in your emergency plans!

Household pets should always be taken with you when you evacuate, and food and water for all your animals should be included in your two-week shelter-at-home kit. (More on that next week!)

Large animals and livestock require a lot more advance planning to safely move them in the event of an evacuation.

Learn about caring for pets in a disaster and plan for livestock evacuation at www.LaneCountyOR.gov/LCAID

🟢Level 1 (Be Ready)
🟡Level 2 (Be Set)
🔴Level 3 (GO NOW)
