【茂原アジアンナイトマーケット出店＆茂原桜まつりでパフォーマンスをしてきました！】

３月２７日(金)に初めて行われた茂原アジアンナイトマーケットに協会も出店をしました！当日は多くの方で賑わい、会場は春の夜の楽しい雰囲気に包まれました。
出店ブースでは、スリランカの本格的な「セイロンティー」を販売！香り高い一杯をお楽しみいただきました。ランタンリリースも行われ、幻想的な空間が広がり、素敵な一夜となりました♪

また、翌日開催された「茂原桜まつり」では、太極拳やフィリピンダンスのパフォーマンスを披露しました。桜の花が満開の中、エネルギッシュな演（武）舞が会場を大いに盛り上げてくれました！
一人でも多くの方に国際交流や異文化の楽しさが伝わってくれたら嬉しいです！
これからも、皆さんに楽しんでいただけるイベントを企画していきますので、楽しみにしていてくださいね。

[ Mobara Asian Night Market booth & performance at the Mobara Cherry Blossom Festival!]

Our association set up a booth at the first-ever Mobara Asian Night Market held on Friday, March 27th! The event was bustling with a large crowd, and the venue was filled with a fun spring-night atmosphere.
At our booth, we sold authentic Sri Lankan "Ceylon tea"! Visitors enjoyed the rich aroma of the tea. A lantern release also took place, creating a magical atmosphere and making it a truly wonderful night♪

The following day, at the "Mobara Cherry Blossom Festival," we showcased Tai Chi and Philippine dance performances. Surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom, the energetic performances brought great excitement to the venue!
We hope as many people as possible can experience the joy of international exchange and different cultures. We will keep planning fun events for everyone to enjoy, so please stay tuned!

講演会「ペルー人が茂原市で学び流山市民になって～地域活動における外国人との接し方について～」

ペルー出身🦙の上村寿安(じゅあん)カルロス氏を講師に招き、講演会を開催しました。自治会役員、スポーツ推進員、消防団員として地域活動に参加し、地域に貢献されているご自身の経験についてお話しいただきました✨。
また、茂原市での経験と現在の流山市での暮らしを踏まえ、外国人の視点から、地域で外国出身の方々と共に暮らしていくための心構えについてお話しいただきました🌎。
参加者からは「外国人から見た日本のことを聞きたかったのでよくわかった。」「日本で生活する苦労がわかった。」「外国人の方が地域のことに気軽に参加できるようにお話したい。」など多くの好評の声が寄せられました。

Lecture “From Mobara student to Nagareyama Citizen-How to Interact with Foreign Residents in Community Activities”

A lecture was held featuring Mr. Juan Carlos Uemura from Peru as the guest speaker. He spoke about his experiences contributing to the community through activities such as serving as a neighborhood association officer, sports promotion volunteer, and a volunteer firefighter.
Drawing on his experience living in Mobara and his current life in Nagareyama City, he also shared his thoughts from a foreign residents’ perspective on how people from different backgrounds can live together in the community.
Participants gave many positive comments, such as ‘I wanted to hear how Japan looks from foreign residents’ perspectives, and it helped me understand it better. ’’I realized the difficulties foreigners may face when living in Japan.’ And ’I would like to speak with foreign residents so they can feel more comfortable participating in community activities.”

佐倉方面に視察研修に行って来ました！🌟

最初に寄った「道の駅みのりの郷東金」では、新鮮なお野菜や地元の加工品がたくさんあり、みなさんお買いものを楽しんでいました！🥕🍅この時期は旬のいちごや新鮮なお野菜が豊富で、賑わいを見せていました！

次に行った「佐倉きのこ園」では、きのこ狩りを体験！🍄菌床から出た肉厚の美味しいきのこを見極めて、参加者のみなさんもたくさん採っていらっしゃいました！

最後にメインの「歴博」へ！🏛️日本人でも知らない日本の歴史がたくさん詰まった、とっても広い館内は見応え十分で、3時間半があっという間でした！⏳日本語が分からない方でも、多言語翻訳可能なガイドアプリを使って楽しんでいただけたようで何よりです！「広すぎて全部回れなかったので、またプライベートで来ます！」という方もいらっしゃいました！😊

今後も皆さんに満足していただける企画を考えていきます！✨また皆さんのご参加をお待ちしています！🙌

We went on a study tour to the Sakura area! 🌟
Our first stop was Roadside Station Minori no Sato Togane. There were plenty of fresh vegetables and local processed goods, and everyone had a great time shopping! 🥕🍅 The place was bustling with people looking for seasonal strawberries and fresh veggies!
Next, we visited Sakura Mushroom Garden to experience mushroom picking! 🍄 Participants carefully picked plenty of thick, delicious mushrooms growing right from the beds!
Finally, we headed to our main destination, the National Museum of Japanese History (Rekihaku)! 🏛️ The massive museum is packed with Japanese history that even many Japanese people don't know about. It was so impressive that the three and a half hours just flew by! ⏳ I'm glad that even those who don't understand Japanese were able to enjoy the exhibits using the multilingual guide app! Some people even said, "It was too big to see everything, so I'll come back on my own!" 😊

We will continue to plan events that everyone can enjoy! ✨

🌍✨【国際交流パーティー報告】✨🌍
茂原市国際交流協会主催の国際交流パーティーを開催しました！参加者は子どもから大人まであわせて92名！国籍も日本、中国、韓国、フィリピン、ジンバブエ、スリランカ、カナダ、ベトナム、バングラデシュから様々な方々が集まり、盛り上がりました。
歓談時間には、お菓子を片手に参加者同士でおしゃべり😊✨みんなの笑顔が溢れるひとときでした！太極拳、フィリピンダンス、日本舞踊やバンド演奏など多彩なプログラムもあり、素敵なパフォーマンスで会場を盛り上げてくれました！さらに、参加型の〇✕各国クイズやみんなで踊るダンスタイムでは、国籍を超えて一緒に楽しむことができた特別な時間となったと思います！💃🕺
言葉が通じなくても、心を通わせることができた楽しい時間に感謝🙏💕参加者の皆さん、そして企画・運営を手伝ってくださったスタッフの皆さん、ありがとうございました！これからも茂原市国際交流協会は多文化交流を続けていきます。次回のイベントもお楽しみに！🎉🌈

🌍✨ International Exchange Party Report ✨🌍
We held an International Exchange Party hosted by the Mobara International Friendship Association! A total of 92 participants joined us, from children to adults. People from a variety of backgrounds came together and had a great time, including participants from Japan, China, South Korea, the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Canada, Vietnam, and Bangladesh.
During the chatting time, participants talked while enjoying snacks 😊✨—it was a heartwarming moment filled with smiles! We also had a diverse program featuring Tai Chi, Filipino dance, Japanese traditional dance and Band performance, with wonderful performances that energized the venue. And the interactive True-or-False World Quiz and the dance time created special moments where everyone could have fun together across nationalities! 💃🕺

We’re grateful for the joyful time where, even without sharing the same language, we were able to connect heart to heart 🙏💕 A big thank-you to all the participants and to the staff who helped plan and run the event! The Mobara International Friendship Association will continue to promote multicultural exchange. Please look forward to our next event! 🎉🌈
