Cronulla Public School is a close community where each individual is valued. Our students all know each other and develop strong and lasting friendships while at school. Our small classes and committed teachers enable our students to achieve their personal best. Through the experiences our school provides, students develop a strong sense of responsibility. Our students' educational experience is enriched by the variety of cultures that make up our unique school community. Our teachers and support staff welcome and encourage parents to be partners in their child's learning. Our active Parents and Citizens Association is extensively involved in school activities. At Cronulla Public School we create valuable links between home, school and local community. We work together achieving success through: learning programs supported by the latest technology performing arts groups in drama, dance and choir sports programs including swimming, gymnastics and basketball student representative council and young leader training programs public speaking programs visual art programs and competitions peer support programs.

A huge shoutout to Jess from Year 6, who competed at the State Acro Gymnastics Championships for the fifth year in a row!

After two rigorous trials, Jess excelled as part of a trio, achieving impressive scores and showcasing her dedication, skill and commitment to the sport.

A special person who loves, supports, encourages and guides us through life.

Someone who shows up, listens, teaches, protects, celebrates our successes and helps us through the tough times.

A dad can be a father, stepdad, grandad, uncle, foster dad, father figure or someone special who fills that role - because being a dad is about the love you give, the memories you create and the difference you make.

Yesterday morning, we celebrated the incredible dads and father figures in our students’ lives with doughnuts, laughter and plenty of sweet memories.

🏉 NSWPSSA TOUCH FOOTBALL 🏉

Congratulations to our Cronulla Public School students who represented Sydney East at the NSWPSSA Combined Touch Football Championships in Coffs Harbour last week, with both the Boys and Girls teams coming away with medals!

🥈 Boys – Silver Medal
🥉 Girls – Bronze Medal

Well done to River S, Boston KH and Asher S in the Boys team, and Hazel L in the Girls team.

A special congratulations to River, who has been selected to represent NSW at the National Touch Football Championships in October. This is River’s second NSW selection this year, an outstanding achievement!

🎨🇯🇵 Cronulla artists heading to Nagoya! 🇯🇵🎨

We are so excited to share that three artworks created by our Cronulla Public School students have been selected for this year’s Nagoya Sister City Art Exchange exhibition in Japan!

Congratulations to Mila, Sameera, and Harriet, Willow, Lennox & Isla! 🎉

Two individual artworks and one collaborative artwork will travel to Japan to be exhibited in Nagoya.

The students will receive certificates celebrating their achievement, and Cronulla Public School will receive an artwork from Nagoya as part of the exchange.

Their artwork will also be featured in an online exhibition by The Arts Unit.

Such an exciting opportunity for our young artists! 🌏🎨✨

This week is SASS Appreciation Week (School Aministrative and Support Staff).

We are incredibly fortunate at CPS to have such an amazing group of professionals who make up our support staff.

Administration, SLSO's and General Assistants are essential to our school and the education system.

They are also all-round great people!

This week we take the opportunity to recognise, respect and celebrate all that our support staff do to make our school the wonderful place it is.

🎨 Art Club | Semester 1

A huge congratulations to these 12 incredibly talented and dedicated students who were selected for our Gifted & Talented Art Program in Semester 1 and spent nine weeks discovering the world of painting.

Over the weeks, the girls gave up their lunch every Thursday (and sometimes Tuesdays!) to come together and create something truly special. We explored how to build up layers, experimented with different materials and techniques, and most importantly, learnt to trust the process and let the artwork evolve.

It has been wonderful watching their confidence, creativity and artistic skills grow throughout the project. They should be incredibly proud of the finished result! What a beautiful and very special piece of art to take home and hang with pride. 🖼️✨

Well done, girls! Your dedication and talent have truly shone through. 💕🎨
