Last night, our Rotary Club had the pleasure of welcoming Bob Chabot, COO of the Central Florida Zoo, as our guest speaker. Bob shared exciting updates about the zoo, its impact on conservation and education, and the important role it plays in our community.

Today, members of the Downtown Ormond Beach Rotary Club and Lighthouse - Christ Presbyterian Church rolled up their sleeves to help beautify Barracks of Hope, supporting the veterans who have served our country. Through service and community partnership, we’re helping create a welcoming space for those who have given so much. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and made a difference! 🇺🇸💙

No matter where you travel, you can find Rotarians making a difference in their communities. While visiting Saint Lucia, Randolyn found Rotary in action, and Lisa spotted a fundraiser to help End Polio in the Cayman Islands!

It’s a powerful reminder that Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self extends far beyond our hometowns — uniting people across the globe through service, fellowship, and impact.

The Downtown Ormond Beach Rotary Club is proud to support our local veterans with a $450 donation to Barracks of Hope to help continue their important work serving veterans in our community. 🇺🇸

We’re also excited to partner with Barracks of Hope for a community service project on Saturday, May 30 at 8:30 AM. We invite the public to join us in giving back at 962 Derbyshire Road, Daytona Beach. Together, we can make a difference for those who have served our country.

Service in action 💙

On Saturday, our Rotary club partnered with Lighthouse - Christ Presbyterian Church to help a disabled veteran with a much needed yard clean-up—clearing debris and creating a safer, more welcoming space.

Grateful for everyone who showed up to serve. This is community in action.
