In this period of pandemic I wish all my brothers and sisters globally stay safe. We know the times are hard, we know there are pains here and there but I want to encourage you be resilient and positive about your life. It is only a surviving soldier that can tell how the war front was.

Where ever you are, do remember, we all we have and we are better together.

Information reaching the Secretariat of Akwaibomites Upcountry Solidarity Forum(AKUSOF) is that a group of people have tried to hijack our organization name for their political affiliation. While other group are are saying that AKUSOF is affiliated to their political group.

We want to state clearly here that AKUSOF is not affiliated to any political group except Bishop Samuel Akpan organisation. And that in due course we will announce the political party and candidate we will give support to.
All are members should remain calm and loyal to our unity.

The APC stalwarts are becoming helpless and angry. How can the same people who made it possible for this government to be in power in 2015 be left outside roaming the streets for over two years seven months now.

If President PMB was in this shoe will he be happy? He made a plea during the last APC NEC meeting promising to constitute new boards members for all Government Departments and Agencies. My President how long does it take to take a political decision such as this? Sir remember that 2019 is a year year plus away. How easy will it be for your Appointees to understand the politics of governance in these GAPs and used good for your re-run in 2019. No gain saying that it is Appointees that deliver during elections.

Sir you are having enemies in both ways, enemies inside and enemies outside. Enemies inside are PDP Men still occupying spaces in your government waiting to stage palace coup comes 2019. Enemies outside are your angry boys. Don't forget anything can happen.
Sir, Have you taking time to investigate why all these labor unrest are happening now. Two years of no queue at stations record suddenly we have it here again at this critical time of setting records straight for evaluations.

In the next few days our dear state will turn thirty years since creation in 1987. Good to say that a child born on this same date in now a grown adult who might have finished undergraduate and post graduate studies all things being equal and is now settling down to face the real realities of life.

Akwa Ibom State over these years has undergone several development strides with different government in power both military and civilian. Much have been achieved infra-structurally, through human capital development, in social, economic and welfare of citizens respectively.

Today Akwa Ibom State stands tall in the committee of states in Nigeria and our youths and elites are respected in different works of life. Once a sleeping state now has become a tourist destination for lovers of good meals, culture, peaceful and clean environment.

It should also be at the back of our minds that there are one or several mistakes that we made while developing as a state before now which in one way or the other did re****ed our growth and development.

In all these, as a patriotic and good indigence of Akwa Ibom state what are those things that you see or feel that we have gotten right in the course of our development as a state?
Do you also agree that some individuals and groups of people in the state has or have contributed immensely towards our very existence and well being?
Mistakes are inevitable in the course of creating and development, what and where are those areas that you think we did not do well as a people and needs attention the future of our state and people?

Akwa Ibom is great and we are a great people. Let contribute positively towards now and the future of our generations.
