🕊️ Remembering Jim Finucane

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jim Finucane. Jim was our organisation’s very first Chairman, elected at our first conference in 1978.

Under the vision of Garret FitzGerald, he helped lay the foundations of Young Fine Gael, giving voice to generations of young people who believed in a better, more inclusive Ireland.

Throughout his life, Jim remained a tireless public servant — as Mayor of Tralee, Cathaoirleach of Kerry County Council, and most recently as Honorary Consul of Ukraine for the southwest. His commitment to community, democracy, and international solidarity never wavered.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
