On June 11, 2026, at about 4:20 p.m., the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 9000 block of Hyatt Resort Drive for narcotics. Deputies received a tip alleging possible narcotics usage at the residence, which led to a search warrant being generated and approved.
During ex*****on of the warrant, deputies detained a female at the front door, later identified as Danielle Gill. She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG 2 or 2-A ≥4g 5 lbs ≤50 lbs.
A search of the residence resulted in the discovery of approximately 5,768 grams of ma*****na, 43 grams of THC wax, 197 grams of THC v**e products, one AR-15 rifle, one 9mm G***k handgun, and $492,425 in U.S. currency.
Possession and distribution of illegal narcotics is not a victimless crime and contributes to violence, addiction, and harm in our communities. These activities often fuel organized criminal networks, increase the risk of dangerous encounters, and place a heavy burden on families, neighborhoods, and public safety resources.
Attribute the following statement to Sheriff Javier Salazar:
"Over the years, many of our violent crimes, including homicides can be traced back to confrontations over THC v**e cartridges. This issue continues to be a pervasive problem, and is obviously a big money business."
Great work by our deputies and thank you to the public for the tips that helped lead to this apprehension. Please submit tips on the BCSO Sheriffs App or email [email protected] with information regarding possible criminal activity.
