MBQG's mission is to educate/promote interest in quilting, and to provide a place for quilters to interact and learn. A meeting is planned for April 8, 2021.
Centered in Alger County, MI, efforts include quilt donations to support the community, an annual quilt camp, and triennial quilt show. Meetings are at 6pm, second Thursday of the month. Since COVID restrictions are in effect, meetings have been virtual every second month.

Exciting news! Our Co-President Shirley Swanson’s daughter, Kate Nel, has released her first original quilt pattern! She has been teaching kids 8-12 how to sew at WarmanCozy Quilt Shop in Barrington, Illinois and has been at quilt camp the last few years with her daughters for those who have attended and may recognize her.
