New York State Unified Court System’s Office for Justice Initiatives To ensure access to justice for those passing through the doors of every New York State court.

The New York State Courts Access to Justice Program provides pro bono legal services to litigants in the following areas:

- Consumer Debt
- Family Court matters
- Foreclosure
- Housing
- Uncontested Divorce

Attorneys wishing to volunteer in these programs will receive free training, with CLE credit, in exchange for 12 hours of service at the attorneys' convenience, in one of the Access to Justice programs. At all times, our volunteers are supervised by court attorneys, or trained attorneys from organizations that work in partnership with the courts. Programs in which volunteer attorneys offer legal information and/or advice are available to New Yorkers in need in courthouses in Bronx, Kings, New York, and Queens Counties.
