Thank you Yale! I look forward to serving this community over the next three years. Congratulations to Jason Brown on winning seat 2, as well.

First I'd like to thank Commissioner Strader for his years of service to the City of Yale. He ran an excellent campaign and I enjoyed my 3 years of service alongside him.

Next, thank you to my wife and kids. They realize how important this is to me and sacrifice time away from me regularly to pursue community service endeavors. I couldn't do half of what I do without Sierra Porter.

Last, thank you to all that believed in me. Those that supported me along the campaign. The 131 folks that showed up to the polls. The friends, family, and neighbors that put up with me badgering them to vote. I wouldn't be here without you.

Alright Yale. Let's get to work! I'll keep this page up. I'll share pertinent information from meetings, ask questions, as well as check the inbox. If you need anything, feel free to reach out.

As of today, there's 624 registered voters within the municipality of Yale.

The 2021 City Commission election had 121 voters.

We have got to get those numbers up!

I believe it should go without saying, but I would like to publicly address that I am in no way associated with the political mud slinging going on on The Phoenix. For that matter, I try to distance myself from all matters that go on on that page.

Mud slinging does nothing for the Democratic Process. I wish my opponent well and hope that you chose a candidate based on merit and not on gossip.

Tomorrow is the big Candidate Forum!

Yale Chamber of Commerce is graciously hosting all candidates for a Q&A. I want to make sure that each and every question and concern you have is addressed.

Your questions and issues are valid and it is absolutely vital that you have a Commissioner that sees you, hears you, and represents you.

The Forum kicks off at 6:30. It is open to the public if you can make it to the Senior Citizens Center. If not, it'll be live streamed via the Chamber page and I will share that here as will.

As I've said, I am all for transparency. I encourage you to show up with questions. If you have a question for me, you are welcome to message me here. You can also reach me via call or text at 405.714.4094. If you don't feel like asking a question publicly, catch me after the forum. I will gladly answer any and all of your concerns. We can stand outside all night if that's what it takes.

I just checked my calendar and I've got the next 4 weekends booked with Park Improvement projects and community events:

2/19- Park Cleanup and wood cutting ahead of Reenactment
2/26- Disc Golf Basket installation
3/5- Yale Trade Days
3/11-13- Battle of Round Mountain Reenactment

When choosing a candidate, ask yourself: what do they do for our community? Are they investing in our town?
