🚁 Title: Carmona Drone Training (Day 3 of 3)

The final day of the Carmona Drone Training at the Carmona Community Center focuses on reinforcing practical knowledge and completing the full drone workflow from flight to data processing. The session begins with a refresher of Day 2 activities, followed by processed data analysis using DJI Terra to further understand mapping outputs and results interpretation.

Participants conduct an actual flight mission and perform post-processing of captured data, applying the complete mapping workflow they have learned. The program also includes a Question-and-Answer session for experience sharing and professional advice.

The training concludes with a Closing Meeting featuring certificate awarding, group photo, and closing remarks—marking the successful completion of the 3-day Drone Operation Training.

Carmona Drone Training (Day 2 of 3)

The second day of the Carmona Drone Training continues at the Carmona Community Center as participants strengthen their drone operation skills through hands-on flight exercises and technical sessions. Activities include refresher discussions from Day 1, pre-flight and post-flight checklist application, and ex*****on of CAAP-required maneuvers such as square,, cube, circle, helix, and figure-eight patterns, along with emergency stop, Return-to-Home (RTH), and manual landing.

Participants are also introduced to Mapping 101 and Terra discussions, where they learn mission planning, proper data acquisition, and mapping workflow processes. During the session, they are able to process a sample mapping output and generate both 2D and 3D results, helping them understand how drone data is transformed into usable maps for field and planning applications.

The activity further develops participants’ piloting confidence, operational discipline, and technical capability in using drones for mapping and practical operations.

📝 Description:
The Carmona Drone Training officially begins today at the Carmona Community Center and runs until February 26, 2026. Participants are introduced to the fundamentals of drone operation, including drone familiarization, parts and terminology, proper safekeeping, operational do’s and don’ts, and CAAP rules and regulations.

The first day also features a mock knowledge exam, trainer flight demonstration, and guidance on proper battery charging—helping ensure safe, responsible, and effective drone utilization.

Carmona ICT Council Meeting

The Carmona ICT Council Meeting was held at the Carmona Operation Center, in partnership with the DICT Provincial Office, with representatives from the academe, industries, and utility providers.

Discussions focused on the reconstitution of the ICT Council and its structure, the Digital Cities initiative, and the future developments of SM Carmona City, all aligned with the vision of Carmona City to become a Smart City—leveraging technology for efficient governance, economic growth, and improved quality of life for its citizens.
