BY STAFF CONTRIBUTOR STATEWIDE - Earlier this month, The Ohio Register reported about growing opposition to wireless smart meter installation. While some utility providers are offering “opt out” programs for consumers willing to pay fees, Ohio Administrative Code 4901:1-10 allows electric provid...

Last week, my Task Force held a hearing on one of the most abused programs in the federal government: Temporary Protected Status.

“Temporary” was never temporary.

When Biden took office, there were 410,000 TPS beneficiaries. When he left, there were 1.4 million. Half of them weren’t even in the country until after he opened the border.

This was the strategy all along.

Democrats found a program with no statutory definition of “temporary” and no limit on extensions — and they exploited it for thirty years. Every extension was a choice to prioritize a future voting bloc over the Americans who were left competing for jobs, housing, and hospital beds.

And when we asked the people defending this system to account for it, they couldn’t.

One witness testified — under oath — that the border was “secure” during the Biden administration. When I asked how many illegal aliens entered the country under Biden, he called the number “whole cloth.” The real number, of course, is even higher.

When I asked him a simple question — are fewer illegal aliens crossing the border now than under Biden — he told me that wasn’t “his area of expertise.” This is coming from a man whose organization spent years lobbying for taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal aliens, including shutting down one of the busiest bridges in America to demand it.

That’s exactly why my Task Force exists. We’re putting the people defending this system under oath, on the record, where they can’t hide behind talking points.

STATEWIDE - As wireless smart meters continue expanding across Ohio, a growing coalition of grassroots advocates and consumer protection groups is launching a coordinated pushback, urging residents to demand utility meter choice legislation from state and federal lawmakers. Why is the Ohio Republican party opposed to ID for mail in ballots? The people see the difference and it’s backfiring for those who want a fair election process without the word salad games.

OHIO REPUBLICANS SEEK CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT BALLOT INITIATIVE FOR PHOTO ID TO VOTE IN PERSON, BUT NOT BY MAIL OR ABSENTEE

What is the freaking point of this?!

Why in the world would you require photo ID for in person voting--which is currently the state law-- but not for those votes cast by mail or absentee?

Political grandstanding by a bunch of do-nothing dumbasses--that's all this is.

They may think--foolishly--that this is going to drive gullible Republican voters to the polls this November.

Newsflash! It isn't.

A valid photo ID should be required for ALL voting in the state of Ohio.

The same fully documented, fully vetted standard should be in place for all methods of voting in the state of Ohio.

Period.

Put that on the ballot and maybe people will show up.

Did you know that you have to show an ID to buy spray paint at Walmart?

From an Ohio resident:
Today I went to Walmart to get some black spray paint refresh some rusty patio chairs. As I was using the self checkout, a cashier approached and said she needed to check my ID. I told her I hadn’t purchased any alcohol. She said it was for the spray paint. I was confused and said that seems strange. She told me it’s because people huff it. Well I don’t and why are you checking my ID?

How messed up is it that I need an ID to paint my chairs, yet no ID is needed to mail in a ballot to vote?
