𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲
In line with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, issued by Malacañang on March 6, 2026, the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples-CAR will adopt 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭 𝟒-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 aimed at reducing energy consumption while ensuring the continued delivery of public services. 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲.

PSA BENGUET OFFICE TRANSFER

This is to inform the public that the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Benguet, currently located at #27 M.H. Del Pilar St., Unique Printing Press Building, Legarda–Burnham, Baguio City, will be transferring to its new office location at #106 Magsaysay Avenue, Malipat Bldg., Old Lucban–Happy Homes, Baguio City.

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples CAR mourns the loss of two respected Indigenous leaders and stands in solidarity with all families and communities affected by recent calamities.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and communities of the late Barangay Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Teodora Hidalgo Esteban of Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet, and Municipal Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Ambo Alfonso Gapad of Kibungan, Benguet.

Both were devoted Indigenous leaders who served their communities with integrity, compassion, and an enduring commitment to uphold the rights and welfare of their people. Their service and leadership will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

We likewise express our sympathies to the families and communities affected by Typhoon Tino and Typhoon Uwan. May those who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods find comfort, strength, and hope in the support of one another.

The NCIP-CAR joins everyone in prayer for healing, peace, and resilience. 🙏🙏🙏

Ngayong Oktubre 29, ipinagdiriwang natin ang National Indigenous Peoples Thanksgiving Day — isang araw ng pasasalamat, pagkilala, at paggalang sa mga Katutubo sa ating bansa.

Sa araw na ito, pinaparangalan natin ang katatagan, tapang, at karunungan ng mga Katutubong Pamayanan na patuloy na nagtataguyod ng kanilang karapatan, kultura, at kabuhayan.

Makiisa sa ating nagkakaisang sigaw para sa pantay na karapatan at tunay na pagkilala sa mga Katutubong Pilipino. 🇵🇭✨

La Trinidad celebrates the heart and soul of the Indigenous Peoples—their rich culture, living traditions, and profound wisdom that continue to guide and inspire today’s generation. In line with this, the Municipality of La Trinidad will hold its Indigenous Peoples Month Celebration on October 23–25, 2025.

As part of the weeklong activities, the selected Indigenous Cultural Community Officials for a Day (ICCOFAD) took their oath on October 23, 2025 at La Trinidad Municipal Gym.

Hon. Richard D. Wacnisen, Municipal Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (MIPMR) and Chairman of the IP Committee to the Sangguniang Bayan, authored Municipal Ordinance No. 22-2025, entitled “Revised Indigenous Peoples’ Month Ordinance of 2025 of the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet, Providing Funds Therefor, and for Other Purposes,” which repeals Municipal Ordinance No. 19-2016.

Under Section 6: Projects, Programs, and Activities of the Ordinance, Item 6.5 identifies Indigenous Cultural Community – Indigenous Cultural Community Officials for a Day (ICCOFAD) as one of the activities in observance of IP Month and the celebration of IP Day.

The activity was participated in by personnel from the NCIP Benguet Provincial Office and the NCIP Sablan Community Service Center.
