💪 Training for the Mission

Airmen from the 375th Comptroller Squadron participated in a three-day financial management readiness exercise Oct. 20-22 at focused on preparing for financial operations in a deployed environment.

The exercise included hands-on field training to assess Airmen’s ability to execute financial management operations in support of the mission, along with the Iron Ledger Combat Fitness Test, challenging participants to demonstrate their physical readiness.

Training like this helps ensure Airmen are prepared to meet mission requirements wherever they are needed. 💰✈️

Take a look back at Scott AFB's history! 📸

Historical photographs, postcards, and memorabilia dating from 1942 to 1984 are on display Oct. 23–30 at the Nightingale Inn Dining Facility. The collection offers a glimpse into the installation's past.

Following the week-long exhibit, the artifacts will be transferred to the 375th Air Mobility Wing History Office for preservation.

📦 Mobility in action at !

Airmen from the 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron put their deployment skills to the test during a mobility exercise, practicing the procedures needed to move personnel and equipment around the world.

From cargo inspections to transportation coordination, the exercise reinforced the teamwork and readiness required to support the mission.

🎓 JROTC Day at ! 🛬

Students from schools surrounding Scott AFB visited in order to learn more about the Air Force and the wide range of career fields that make up the mission.

Units from across the installation took time to showcase the different jobs and opportunities available across , giving students a chance to talk with Airmen, see the equipment they use and learn more about what they do every day.

From aircraft operations and maintenance to security, fire, medical, communications and support roles, the event gave students a look at just how many different career paths are available in the Air Force. ✈

Thanks to all the schools, students and Team Scott units who came out, shared their experiences and helped give the future of the Air Force a closer look at what it means to serve! 🫡

From the activities to the people who make up the mission, students got to share their own perspectives of the day through photography.

📢‼️REMINDER Finance Office Closure:

The 375th Comptroller Squadron Financial Management Flight (Finance) office will be closed next week, Oct. 19-23 for a contingency exercise.

If you have any finance needs, submit your inquiries through the Comptroller Services Portal. The Finance team will action requests as soon as possible.

For finance emergencies during the closure, please work through your chain of command.
