Ang TUPAD ay isang emergency employment program na ipinagkakaloob lamang sa mga kwalipikadong benepisyaryo na sumasailalim sa profiling at pagsusuri ng mismong DOLE.

Huwag magbigay ng anumang personal na impormasyon, bank account number o sumali sa mga pribadong inisyatiba na nagsasabing sila ay konektado sa programa.

Para sa mga katanungan o paglilinaw tungkol sa mga programa at serbisyo ng DOLE, makipag-ugnayan lamang sa pinakamalapit na tanggapan ng DOLE sa inyong lugar.

NAGTIPUNAN, QUIRINO — To help students move smoothly from school to work, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of LGU Nagtipunan, Quirino, conducted a career intervention on January 27, 2026.

The Career Development Support Program 2026 aims to address the “job-skill mismatch” by guiding Grade 10 and Grade 12 students toward academic and vocational tracks aligned with in-demand jobs in local and national labor markets.

The activity brought together experts from the Departments of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Philippine National Police (PNP), Municipal Civil Registry Office (MCRO), and the PESO Provincial Government of Quirino. who shared practical insights with students and their families on job trends, in-demand skills, and growing industries to better prepare them for employment.

“Our mission is to transform students from mere diploma holders into job-ready professionals capable of navigating the modern economy with confidence,” said Ms. Vaneza Tobias of DOLE-QFO.

She further explained, “By providing this strategic guidance now, we are empowering the youth to make informed educational and career decisions today, effectively shielding them from the long-term struggles of unemployment and underemployment.”

Held at Nagtipunan National High School, the event served as a career guide that helped students align their skills and interests with industry needs, strengthening the connection between education and employment in the province.

The program featured workshops, career counseling, and skills-mapping activities to help students identify suitable career paths, with families encouraged to take part in the decision-making process.

Rey Arawag, PESO Manager of Nagtipunan, said that this forward-looking approach reflects the municipality’s commitment to developing competent, adaptable, and future-ready graduates who can meet the demands of a changing labor market. /PEFM

Ayon sa Labor Code of the Philippines, as renumbered, obligasyon ng mga employer na i-release ang Final Pay ng empleyado sa loob ng 30 araw mula sa petsa ng separation. Kabilang dito ang unpaid wages, leave credits, at iba pang benepisyong nararapat matanggap ng empleyado.
Kasama rin sa tungkulin ng employer ang pag-isyu ng Certificate of Employment (COE) kapag ito ay hiniling, upang magsilbing patunay ng employment at makatulong sa paghahanap ng susunod na trabaho.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 ₱𝟵𝟱𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘-𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝗘𝗻𝗔 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Cabarroguis, Quirino — January 9, 2025 — A local mechanic in Quirino Province successfully received his full monetary claims amounting to ₱95,000 following a fair and timely conciliation facilitated by the Department of Labor and Employment–Quirino Field Office (DOLE-QFO).

The dispute was peacefully settled through the Single Entry Approach (SEnA), allowing both parties to resolve the issue quickly without going through lengthy legal proceedings.

The conciliation was led by Senior Labor and Employment Officer Engr. Julex A. Biagan, who ensured fair discussion between both parties, resulting in a mutually agreed settlement covering the worker’s unpaid service revenue and final monetary benefits.

The settlement was finalized within the SEnA period, demonstrating the effectiveness of DOLE’s Accessible, Responsive, and Modern Settlement (ARMS) system, which aims to simplify dispute resolution while protecting workers’ rights and maintaining harmonious employer-employee relations.

Expressing his gratitude, the worker shared that the settlement has brought him much-needed relief and financial stability, enabling him to move forward, support his family, and explore new livelihood opportunities.

DOLE-Quirino Field Office Head Froctoso Agustin reaffirmed the office’s commitment to protecting workers’ welfare and upholding labor standards, encouraging both workers and employers to use SEnA for the early and efficient resolution of labor concerns.
