A case conference involving officers and personnel of the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Qatar, together with shelter wards, was conducted on 13 September 2026 at the Migrant Workers Resource Center (MWRC).

The session aimed to provide the wards with updates on the status of their respective cases, address concerns and issues they may be facing, and strengthen coordination among concerned officers and personnel in the effective management and resolution of their cases.

The session also served as an opportunity for MWO and OWWA Qatar personnel to engage directly with the wards, listen to their concerns, clarify matters related to their cases, and provide appropriate guidance and assistance. The open dialogue underscored the Philippine government's commitment to ensuring that the needs, welfare, and concerns of distressed and vulnerable Filipino workers under the center’s care are properly addressed.

Through regular case conferences and direct consultations, MWO and OWWA Qatar continue to enhance coordination and strengthen the delivery of responsive welfare services to overseas Filipino workers in Qatar.
