This week we saw that the Union is not a Union of equals. Cymru and Alba have no say. All the decisions lie in London. However, we know where our future lies, regardless of what England wants or thinks, and that is independence. This week also saw the publication of Plaid Cymru's 'Y Ffordd i ANNIBYNIAETH - The Road to INDEPENDENCE. Please read it here, if you already have not done so. It is our route to self determination.

The Conservative party is about to elect again another Prime Minister with less than 1% of the population. This isn't democratic. We need a General Election.

Now is time for independence. We have a lot going for us, we can make it work ! 243 billion litres of water is annually exported from Wales, but our communities see no benefit. With independence we can make these English water companies pay their due. We are a net exporter of electricity in 2019 we consumed 14.7 TWh and produced 27.9 TWh - it's probably even more now. Most of that electricity goes to England - it is time they paid for it. Our tourist industry is booming making around £6.3 billion a year - about £17m a day, let us be free to increase that amount. Our food sector had a turnover of £7.473 billion (2019) - imagine what we could do without the negative influence of Westminster. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Freedom from the neglect of Westminster will allow us - the people of Cymru - to make our country prosperous.

The Tories want an end to devolution, they want an end to the liberties we in Cymru have gained by devolution. We must remember what our own ancestors have stated.

Richard Price writes in his -

Observations on the nature of civil liberty, the principles of government and the justice and the policy of the war with America 1776 -

-"Civil liberty is the power of the state to govern itself, by its own discretion or by laws of its own making without being subject to any foreign discretion or the impositions of any extraneous will or power"

He goes on to write -

" If the laws are made by one man or junto of men in a state and not by common consent, a government by them does not differ from slavery. In this case it would be a condradication in terms to say the state governs itself"

Just as in that time of American revolution we in Cymru are now owed our independence or liberty our right to self determination.

That day will come. March on the 2nd!

All this talk of Scottish independence while we in Wales quietly start building our future outside the UK. Whether you agree with the Labour/Plaid pact or not it is a significant step towards a different future for Wales. Hopefully, this pact and other initiatives, such as Universal Basic Income (UBI), will influence the minds of the Welsh public. Make them believe through what has been achieved that we can make a success of independence. Westminster virtually ignores the threat of Welsh independence, good, we'll sneak up and surprise them.

Much has been written about the impact of colonialism abroad but little on it's impact on Wales. Our country has become the ultimate victim of Stockholm Syndrome and it has done us no good. Whereas in the past we did not believe in or see our wealth as a nation - now we are beginning to. We have much going for us - time to end our bo***ge.
