Today, our English Teaching Assistant, Lillian Duma, held her final activity with her group of young participants.

Throughout her service at the American Corner Prizren, Lillian organized and led numerous engaging sessions, introducing students to a wide range of topics related to American culture, history, values, society, and everyday life in the United States. Through discussions, presentations, and interactive activities, she helped participants strengthen their English skills while gaining a deeper understanding of American life and culture.

For their last meeting, the group watched a short movie together and shared a final conversation, reflecting on the experiences, friendships, and knowledge they gained throughout the program.

We are grateful for Lillian’s dedication, enthusiasm, and positive impact on our youth and community.

Today, American Corner Prizren had the pleasure of welcoming Fulbright Specialist Dr. Carl Canles from Utah Valley University for an engaging and informative session on two of the most important topics of our time: Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.

During the presentation, young participants learned about online safety, emerging AI technologies, and common cyber threats such as phishing, smishing, and vishing, gaining valuable knowledge and practical tips to help them navigate the digital world more safely and responsibly.

We are grateful to Dr. Carl Canles for sharing his expertise, insights, and experience with our students. His presentation inspired meaningful discussions and increased awareness of the opportunities and challenges that come with today's rapidly evolving technology.

Another engaging and inspiring session was held with our English Teaching Assistant Lillian Duma. She continued her weekly activities with youth.

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Jeff Terrel an ELF as our guest speaker. He delivered an inspiring presentation about road trips across the USA, sharing stories that captured the spirit of adventure and discovery. 🚗🇺🇸✨

To make the session even more interactive, Jeff included fun quizzes about the United States, keeping participants engaged and curious. Through this lively exchange, everyone learned many new things about American culture, geography, and traditions.

Thank You to the participants from the "Naim Frashëri" school and to our volunteers for joining this presentation and making it such a memorable experience.
