The Embassy of Japan in Kosovo had the honor of calling on H.E. Mr. Lulëzon Jagxhiu, Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration of the Republic of Kosovo, for a cordial exchange of views with our Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, Mr. Hiroyasu Tanigaki, on the further deepening of bilateral cooperation.
We recognize Kosovo’s safe and enabling environment for doing business and would like to pursue for possible opportunities for cooperation. We appreciate the Minister’s acknowledgment of Japan’s continued support for Kosovo’s digital transformation, including through the World Bank–managed and Government of Japan–financed Quality Infrastructure Investment program. The Embassy stands ready to work closely with the Ministry to further advance our partnership.

The Embassy of Japan in Kosovo warmly welcomes the Regional Follow-Up Seminar on Urban Public Transport Management and Operation in the Western Balkans, held in Tirana on 13–14 May. We are pleased to see Kosovo’s active participation alongside partners from Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, JICA, and the Japanese cities of Matsuyama and Sakaide.

We are delighted to share this wonderful event organized by the Language Centre of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Pristina, in cooperation with the Japan Foundation Budapest.
Through this event, participants were given a unique opportunity to deepen their appreciation of Japanese language and culture, while also exploring concrete pathways to further their studies and engagement with Japan.
We are encouraged by the University of Pristina's continued commitment to building bridges with Japan, and we remain dedicated to further strengthening the bonds of friendship, culture, and education between Japan and Kosovo. 🇯🇵🤝🇽🇰✨
