Glimpses of Ayushman Arogya PMSMA Activities at Golagaon BPHC

As part of the 10 Years Celebration of Pradhan Mantri Suraksh*t Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), Ayushman Arogya PMSMA activities were successfully conducted at Golagaon BPHC.

Pregnant women were provided with comprehensive antenatal care services, including health check-ups, laboratory investigations, counseling, and screening for high-risk pregnancies to ensure timely management and referral.

Pregnant women received comprehensive antenatal care services, including health screening, laboratory investigations, counseling, USG referral where required, and identification of high-risk pregnancies for timely management.

Glimpses of PMSMA Activities at Barama Model Hospital

As part of the 10 Years Celebration of Pradhan Mantri Suraksh*t Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), antenatal care services, screening of pregnant women, and identification of high-risk pregnancies were conducted at Barama Model Hospital.

On-site monitoring and supportive supervision of PMSMA activities were carried out by the District Community Mobilizer (DCM) and District Family Planning Coordinator (DFPC), Baksa, to ensure quality service delivery and effective implementation of maternal health services.

Glimpses from Dr. Rabi Boro Civil Hospital, Mushalpur

As part of the 10 Years Celebration of PMSMA, the District Immunization Officer (DIO), DPM and DPC accompanied by HA visited Dr. Rabi Boro Civil Hospital, Mushalpur and reviewed the provision of Ultrasonography (USG) services for pregnant women under PMSMA.

Simultaneously, on-site monitoring and supportive supervision of PMSMA activities were carried out by the District Quality Consultant (DQC) and Hospital Administrator to ensure quality maternal health services and timely identification of high-risk pregnancies.

As part of the 10 Years Celebration of PMSMA, the DPM and DPC, Baksa conducted on-site monitoring and supportive supervision of PMSMA services at Salbari Model Hospital.

The visit focused on reviewing antenatal care services, screening of pregnant women, identification of high-risk pregnancies, and ensuring quality service delivery under PMSMA.

Together, we remain committed to strengthening maternal healthcare and promoting safe motherhood.

Inauguration of District Day Care Cancer Centre (DCCC), Baksa 🎗️

Today, the District Day Care Cancer Centre (DCCC) at Dr. Ravi Boro Civil Hospital, Mushalpur was formally inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Hon'ble EM, BTC Shri Augustus Tigga, Hon'ble District Commissioner Smt Kimnei Changsan, ADC (Health) Jituraj Gogoi, Joint Director of Health Services, Baksa Dr. Hitesh Ch. Kakati, along with other distinguished officials.

The occasion was also graced by Dr. Apurba Kalita, Managing Director, Dr. Dipak Agarwal, Superintendent, Senior Radiation oncologists Dr Thamizholi Selvaraju, the Zonal Manager, Dentist - Dr Anisur Rahma, Zonal Manager - Stifa lokhonary, Nursing officer - Rozi Sonuwal, Monisa Boro from Barpeta Cancer Institute .

With the inauguration of the centre, Day Care Cancer Centre services are now operational and will provide much-needed cancer care services closer to home for the people of Baksa district, reducing the burden of travel and improving access to treatment.

The programme was successfully organized under the initiative of the District Hospital (DrRBCH), District NCD Cell, and District Health Society, Baksa.

Special appreciation is extended to DPC Prangan Kalita, HA Nabadip Sharma, and DPM Rahim Ali Ahmed for their sincere efforts, dedication, and effective coordination in ensuring the successful conduct of the programme.

Together, we move one step closer towards accessible and patient-centered cancer care for all.
