Corruption Prevention/Samoa National Anti-Corruption Unit The Government of Samoa is committed to Corruption Prevention.

This commitment is translated through its National Anti-Corruption Policy & Strategy 2024/2025 –2028-2029.

Did you know that, in accordance with the Government of Samoa Payment Policy, maximum payments terms must not exceed 15 working days from the receipt of goods and services and a correctly rendered tax invoice?

Our Samoa National Anti-Corruption Prevention Policy clearly identifies non-compliance as a form of corruption in the public service.

The procurement process is one of the many procedures that is often vulnerable to non-compliance. Delays, Shortcuts or “Tips” undermine integrity in our procurement systems and it is our collective responsibility to comply

When we follow process, we protect progress so say NO to Corruption!

*Please note that our video is for demonstration and awareness purposes. The full procurement process is only shown as snippets but not in its full details*

Our duty as public servants is to serve with honesty, integrity and accountability.

This Valentine’s Day, remember - using public resources for personal benefit is corruption.

Valentine’s Day is about love, love for others but also love for doing what is right!

Protect public trust!
Say no to the misuse and abuse of government assets!
Say NO to Corruption!

We are proud of our Senior Anti-Corruption Promotion & Awareness Officer, Delphine Sitanisilao, who recently completed a month-long program in Japan focused on enhancing responses to corruption.

This training is vital for our new Anti-Corruption Unit, established in November 2024, as we continue to build capacity and deliver on the priorities outlined in the National Anti-Corruption Policy & Strategy 2024/25–2028/29.

We sincerely acknowledge the generous support of the Government of Japan through the JICA program in making this possible. Samoa remains committed to promoting integrity and preventing corruption for a better future and equipping our staff with the knowledge & skills needed to perform, is a critical first step.
