🌧️ UPDATE: Heavy Rainfall – Water Supply Disruptions

The current bad weather and heavy rainfall continue to affect our surface water intakes, resulting in high turbidity and debris. To protect our filtration systems and maintain water quality, SWA has reduced production at some treatment plants, which may impact overall supply.

As a result, some areas/systems may experience disrupted and/or intermittent (on-and-off) water supply while these conditions persist. Areas such as:
📌 Magiagi
📌 Vaivase Uta
📌 Fagalii Uta
📌 Afiamalu

Our teams are closely monitoring the situation and will continue efforts to increase production back to normal as raw water conditions improve.

✅ Customer advice:
1. Harvest and store rainwater in case of intermittent supply.
2. Boil rainwater and tap water as a precaution, especially during this period.
