The SPWAN has identified three (3) key focus areas to improve the contribution of its members in the Samoa Police, Prisons and Correction Services (“SPPCS”):
1. Support the development and implementation of policies, initiatives and organizational plans to foster and strengthen an enabling environment which promotes the role of women in the SPPCS;
2. Improve collaboration, communication and invol
vement of key stakeholders in working together to maximize the advancement of women to facilitate the full enjoyment of their rights and contribution to the development of the SSPCS; and
3. Provide a monitoring and evaluation mechanism for the advancement of women in policing in line with PICP-WAN obligations. TERMS OF USE
