Niềm vui lại một lần nữa vỡ òa! Nối tiếp thành công tại đấu trường OPC, AquaGuard vô cùng tự hào và xúc động khi tiếp tục mang về Giải Nhất chung cuộc tại cuộc thi EPICS 8th (Engineering Projects in Community Service). 🎉

Là những sinh viên năm nhất đến từ hai ngôi trường Bách Khoa (HCMUT) và UTS, tụi mình bắt đầu hành trình này với một khát vọng duy nhất: dùng công nghệ để giải quyết bài toán sinh tử trong mùa bão lũ. Giải thưởng này không chỉ là sự công nhận cho nền tảng điều phối cứu hộ AquaGuard, mà còn là minh chứng cho tinh thần "Tech for Good" – Thiết kế vì cộng đồng. 🌊❤️

We did it again! Following our victory at OPC, the AquaGuard team is beyond thrilled and incredibly proud to take home the 1st Prize at the EPICS 8th (Engineering Projects in Community Service) competition! 🎉

As freshmen from HCMUT and UTS, we embarked on this journey with a single vision: leveraging technology to tackle life-or-death challenges during severe floods. Đặc biệt, hai hoạt động Workshop Kỹ năng và Thiết kế poster + video vừa qua đã giúp các đội thi trang bị thêm kỹ năng làm việc nhóm, trình bày dự án hiệu quả, đồng thời mở ra cơ hội để các dự án được đến gần hơn với cộng đồng. Theo thể lệ cuộc thi, đội thi có tổng điểm cao nhất từ hai hoạt động này sẽ nhận được tấm Vé Vàng (𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭) đặc cách bước thẳng vào Vòng Chung kết.

Và tấm Vé vàng của 𝐎𝐏𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 đã chính thức gọi tên đội

Đây là một dự án mang đậm giá trị cộng đồng, thể hiện rõ tính ứng dụng trước những rủi ro thiên tai trong thực tế.

✨ Kết quả này không phải là điểm dừng, mà là một cột mốc đánh dấu sự trưởng thành của các đội thi trên hành trình chung của 𝐎𝐏𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. Các đội thi vẫn còn cơ hội bứt phá tại Vòng Sơ khảo để góp mặt trong Top 10 ở Vòng Chung kết và chờ đón nhiều giải thưởng cùng những trải nghiệm rất đáng mong đợi. In particular, the recent Skills Workshop and Poster & Video Exhibition activities have equipped teams with stronger teamwork skills and more effective project presentation abilities, while also creating opportunities for projects to connect more closely with the community. According to the competition rules, the team with the highest total score from these two activities will receive the 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭, granting direct entry into the Final Round.

And the 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 of 𝐎𝐏𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 has officially gone to team

With the 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 project, the team made a strong impression through an application designed to support flood warnings, SOS alerts, and evacuation guidance, helping residents and rescue forces connect more quickly in emergency situations, even when signal is lost. This is a project rich in community value, clearly demonstrating its practical applicability in response to real-world natural disaster risks.

Teams still have the chance to push forward in the Preliminary Round to secure a place in the Top 10 and advance to the Final Round, with many exciting rewards and meaningful experiences waiting ahead.
