On October 23, 2026, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Hanoi hosted "Discover Morocco: A Cultural Networking Soirée”, an event dedicated to the promotion of Morocco as a touristic destination in the Vietnamese market at the Ambassador's Residence. This event brought together representatives of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, the Chairman of Hanoi UNESCO travel club, and leading tourism industry professionals.
In his welcoming remarks. M. Jamale Chouaibi, Ambassador of His Majesty the King in Hanoi, highlighted Morocco's rich cultural heritage, diverse tourism offerings and the significant potential for strengthening tourism cooperation between Morocco and Viet Nam.
A key highlight of the event was the introduction of the Viet Nam-Morocco Tourism Product Development Alliance aimed at fostering partnerships and promoting Morocco as an attractive destination for Vietnamese travelers.
Through cultural exchange and professional networking, the event reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening people-to-people connections and advancing tourism cooperation between Morocco and Viet Nam.

Participation in the Asia-Africa International Forum 2026 on Digital Connectivity in the Global South

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Vietnam participated in the Asia–Africa International Forum 2026, held in Hanoi on 15 October under the theme “Promoting Digital Connectivity of the Global South Countries.” The forum was organized by the Institute for South Asian, West Asian and African Studies (ISAWAAS) and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS).

Mr. Jamale Chouaibi, Ambassador of His Majesty the King, participated as a keynote speaker and delivered remarks, sharing Morocco’s experience in digital transformation and highlighting the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, digital skills development, and the importance of inclusive connectivity and South–South cooperation. He also underscored the potential for stronger digital cooperation between Morocco, Vietnam and African partners.
