Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of the UNMATCHED Class of 2026 at the St. Croix Educational Complex High School graduation ceremony. Our graduates represent the very best of Barra Nation, and we remain incredibly proud of their dedication, perseverance, and success.
As with any milestone event, graduation is a deeply meaningful moment for students and their families. To comply with venue capacity and safety requirements, each graduating senior was provided with four guest tickets. We experienced challenges when additional guests arrived beyond the allotted ticket count, which impacted the entry process and created delays before the ceremony began. While all parents and families were ultimately able to witness the ceremony, we recognize the entry experience did not meet the standard we expect for such an important occasion.
We apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this caused graduates and loved ones. We are already reviewing our graduation logistics, including strengthening procedures to ensure loved ones with tickets are fully accommodated. As a school community, we value feedback and are committed to making meaningful improvements for future graduation ceremonies.
Our commitment remains with our students and the families and community who support them every step of the way. The UNMATCHED Class of 2026 made us proud through their hard work, resilience, and determination. We congratulate our graduates and thank the parents, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters who helped shape and encourage these young people throughout their journey. Your Barracuda family is proud of you and excited for all that lies ahead.
