Our annual Pole Inspection process is now underway: Utili-Tech Solutions will be inspecting our poles in Kenyon, Richland, Stanton and Sciota townships this spring. Vehicles are marked with the cooperative logo. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to us at the office. Thank you!

UPDATE; The crew had to shut off the rest of the feeder in order to safely make repairs. That included another 50 members West/SW of Kenyon.

We have around 70 members experiencing an outage south of our Kenyon substation. Crew is being dispatched and will work to get this restored as quickly as safely possible. Thank you for your patience.

Members who are supplied from our Lena Substation (Zumbrota, Cherry Grove, Pine Island areas) that have experienced some blinking lights or flickering; the cause was the transmission line feeding that substation. We don’t have a cause from Xcel (owner of that line), but we believe the issue has been resolved. Thank you!

With the cold temps, Great River Energy will be running off-peak programs again on Tuesday (17th) morning for 4 - 5 hours.

These are just predictions, but we want everyone to be prepared. Crews will be ready to go as outages occur, however conditions such as the ones predicted often make power restoration very time consuming. We work as quickly as we safely can but these could be lengthy outages with wet, heavy snow and high winds. Please be prepared and stay safe!
