Nestled among the oak trees and the cabbage palms is home to non-releasable native wildlife, and a few exotic species that are showcased in natural habitats. As a guest, you are welcome to take a leisurely stroll along the elevated boardwalk, stopping for a brief lesson about the animals at the many interpretive stations. Emus lay about 25 eggs per year in the winter months ,the male sits on the eggs and it takes 48to56 days to hatch the average is 50 days .Normally the eggs are the dark green although we have a few that where lighter in color .
