We’re asking our community to come together to support one of our union brothers who is facing a long road to recovery after emergency abdominal surgery. He will be out of work for an extended period of time, and this fundraiser will help offset medical expenses and the financial burdens that come with unexpected hardship.

Any support — whether attending, donating, or simply sharing — makes a difference for him and his family during this difficult time.

A special thank you to American Legion Lebanon Post 113 for graciously hosting and to The Lebanon Reporter for helping us spread the word.

The final relief. 18 years of legendary service to the Zionsville fire department. 12 years of service to the L5195. Lt Steve Hayes served the town, department and our membership better than anyone ever has. Steve’s impact will be felt through out the department for generations to come. Thank you for all you’ve done for our Local, membership, the town and the citizens you dedicated your life to protecting. I can only hope to be half the leader you’ve always taught me to be. Happy Retirement Steve. You will be missed and never replaced.

Please come by and send President Steve Hayes off to retirement. Steve has served the town of Zionsville for 18 years prior to this he was at Bloomington Fire. Steve will be missed and is a leader that can never be replaced. We will miss you Steve. Enjoy your retirement. Love you
