On July 31st a new addition to Watch Us farms came to us in the form of our brand new calf Maisie. She was born a healthy and happy baby girl who is curious and loving. Everyone on the farm loves her and some of the workers were even able to see her being born. Where else can you work where you would get to experience something like that? Maisie exemplifies our unique and life giving program that strives to help adults with special needs because, in the best way, you never know what to expect.

Watch Us Farm

We are very excited to share all that is happening on our farm. Zionsville Monthly just wrote a very nice article about us, http://zionsvillemonthlymagazine.com/watch-us-farm-buildin…/.
A few things were incorrect in the print article, including that adults with disabilities working on the farm were currently living with us, but the online version is correct.
Housing is one of our long term goals, but only after we expand our jobs program and obtain land on which we can grow!
Check out the new "In The News" area in the "About Us" section of our website, www.watchusfarm.com.
Thank you for your ongoing support!

We welcome 3 new additions to the Farm. The small black lamb is named Abegail "Abby", she was born on March 25. One of three. She was not doing well so we adopted her. The two boys, Gilbert and Sullivan, are twins born on April 5. Their momma had no milk. Brought all three home and are teaching them to bottle feed and be loved!

We will be trying a new way of gardening/farming here at the Farm. Spent one week with some amazing people learning about "Farming/Gardening God's Way". This is a form of gardening in an organic, self sustaining format that is currently being taught and used all over the world. We hope to transfer this skill to local adults with special needs here in our community so that they can grow food for themselves and our community. We are trying to start a farm for adults with special needs and provide job opportunities. We are so excited to work on this new ministry. Will keep updating as we move forward.
