Zion Township Zion Township is a Government Agency that provides Zion residents with the resources they need in order to move forward.

Primarily, we offer two main assistance programs, General Assistance and Emergency Assistance. Through both programs, our team works diligently to provide you with the resources that you need to get back on your feet. So, whether you’ve recently lost your job, are waiting for the determination of a social security disability, have received an eviction or utility disconnect notice, are at risk of l

osing your job due to transportation, are trying to enter back into the workforce after being incarcerated, or find yourself facing a crisis of any sort, Zion Township may be able to help.

A huge turnout and a great day! Especially good with Honey Bee Cafe coffee and burritos delivered by the owner herself!

Zion Township, in partnership with Benton Township, Alpine Care of Zion formerly The Grove at The Lake, and the Zion Park District, proudly hosted the 24th Annual Senior Resource Day Expo on April 15 at the Zion Park District Sports Arena! With 64 exhibitors and over 200 seniors in attendance, the event was a great success—connecting our community with valuable resources to enhance their quality of life.
