For those not aware, the City will be replacing Fire Station 2 later this year, and construction is well underway. We haven't shared an update lately, and figure it's a great time to do so! The project is coming along nicely, and the building is really starting to take form - the roof is on and a good portion of the exterior work has been completed. If all continues according to plan and weather cooperates, anticipated completion is mid/late October. We'll be sad to move out of original Station 2 and many current staff members and retirees have great memories serving the City from there - but this is a much needed improvement and will serve the western portion of Zion well! Stay tuned for more updates!
