🚧 Crews are wrapping up excavation work around the bridge and new cul-de-sacs. In the coming weeks, work will shift to drainage improvements, storm sewer installation, pond excavation, and ramp construction. Pipe installation and gravel placement at the southbound roundabout are also scheduled to begin next week.

🚧 As of last week, traffic has shifted to the newly constructed northbound lanes of Hwy 169. Along with this change, the following accesses to Hwy 169 are permanently closed: 5th Ave, Gateway Dr, Main St.

⛔ The Hwy 169 and CR 4 intersection remains closed. To access Hwy 169 from the west, use 269th Ave or 255th Ave. From the east, use the new roundabout at CR 4 and Fremont Dr.

It has been turned over to Monticello Animal Control. Owners can contact them to coordinate pick up.

🚧 Traffic changes begin this Friday, Aug. 28: Starting at 6 a.m., traffic on Highway 169 will shift to the newly constructed northbound lanes. ⚠️ Southbound Hwy 169 will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday so crews can safely move barrier. Detour: 269th Ave, CR 45, and 255th Ave.

⛔ Along with this traffic shift, the following accesses to Hwy 169 will permanently close: 5th Ave, Gateway Dr, Main St.

The Hwy 169 and CR 4 intersection will remain closed. From the west, use 269th Ave or 255th Ave. From the east, use the roundabout at CR 4 and Fremont Dr.
Please slow down, follow posted signage, and watch for changing traffic patterns as crews complete this major project milestone.

🚧 Upcoming detour change: Late the week of August 24, traffic will switch from the southbound lane of Highway 169 to the newly constructed northbound lane, beginning the next phase of the project. Along with this change, the following accesses to Highway 169 will permanently close: 5th Avenue N, Gateway Drive, Main Street.

The Highway 169 and County Road 4 intersection will remain closed. To access Highway 169 from the west, use 269th Avenue or 255th Avenue. To access Highway 169 from the east, use the newly constructed roundabout at County Road 4 and Fremont Drive. The temporary stoplight off of Fremont Drive at Highway 169 and Oak Street will remain in place.
