1 - deck of cards to play with your student
2 - a quick snack for the drive home after mentoring
3 - notebook and pen for any notes/fun facts to jot down about your student
4 - a watch so we don't lose track of time during the mentoring hour
5 - sunglasses in case you go outside with your student
6 - a soccer ball for your soccer-obsessed mentee!

This mentor's story is a great example of the power of longevity in a relationship!
