Zebulon Police Department participated in the final leg of the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run, helping carry the Flame of Hope to the State Capitol in support of Special Olympics North Carolina.

Officers joined law enforcement agencies from across the state to help raise awareness and support for Special Olympics athletes and the mission of inclusion through sports. We are proud to support this incredible cause and the athletes who continue to inspire communities across North Carolina.

This morning, the Zebulon Police Department, joined by officers from Rolesville and Wendell, participated in the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina before handing the torch off to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office. 💙🔥

Leon Allen, a 66 year old black male, 6’3” and approximately 200 lbs, was last seen around 10:00 PM on March 25, 2026, near 310 N Gill St., Zebulon, NC 27597.

K9 Koda and Officer Abate were excited to attend the Zebulon Devil Dogz ribbon cutting and Fan Fest today and even more excited to hear the official announcement of the stadium name, Nomaco Park, named in partnership with Nomaco, a longtime Zebulon business. ⚾🐾
