On April 30th the Forestry Field Day team competed at the State CDE in Swainsboro. In addition to a great team effort, the team walked away with some outstanding individual placings!

🌟Forest Managment - Evelynn Chambers and Stella Mills earned the title of State High Individuals in their event with a PERFECT score!

🌟Timber Cruising for Cord Volume - Avery Jones was 2nd High Individual

🌟Forest Disorders - Liam Wofford was 3rd High Individual

🌟Land Measurement - Brooks Stephens was 3rd High Individual

Our end of the year banquet will be this Friday May 8th, starting at 6pm. Location has changed to the school auditorium this year!!
If your student is receiving their FFA degree or any other recognition they should have been given an invitation by their advisor!

Congratulations to the Forestry Field Day team for placing first at the Area 3 CDE yesterday! Individuals placing first were Waylon Norton, Levi Rawlins, and Liam Wofford. Individuals placing second were Evelynn Chambers, Avery Jones, and Stella Mills. Additional students representing the team well were Tucker Holcombe, Amy Pohle, Brooks Stephens, Logan Stewart, and Jaxon Whitfield.

We wish this team the best as they prepare for the State CDE in April!

PCMS FFA had a week full of Career Development Events!

🐓 The Poultry Evaluation Team represented the chapter well at their event on Wednesday. Team members are Amy Pohle, Isabella Sears, Aubrey Taylor, and Jaxon Whitfield.

🧭 The Forestry Team placed third at their event on Thursday. Team members are Tucker Holcombe, Waylon Norton, Levi Rawlins, and Brooks Stephens.

🪴 The Nursery Landscape Team brought home first place at their event on Thursday as well as four top ten individual placings. Madelyn Bottoms placed ninth, Kali Garner placed fourth, Scarlett Collier placed second, and Liam Wofford placed first. This area-level placing qualifies the team for the state contest. We wish them luck as they prepare to compete in March!

🏆 PCMS FFA congratulates Madelyn Bottoms, Scarlett Collier, Kali Garner, and Liam Wofford for bringing home the blue ribbon as the Champion Team in the Junior Nursery Landscape ID competition at the Georgia National Fair in Perry. Individually Scarlett placed 9th, Kali placed 4th, and Liam placed 1st.
