As your Mayor Pro Tem, it was an honor to attend the grand opening of The Joel Center, a new home base dedicated to serving veterans and military families through resources, support, and meaningful connections.
I was grateful for the opportunity to join our neighbors in Rolesville for this special occasion and would like to extend my sincere thanks to Mayor Pro Tem Daniel Alston for the invitation. It is truly impressive to see the outstanding work he continues to do for his community, particularly in supporting the veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country.
Working together as neighboring communities is essential as we continue to grow and face new opportunities. Partnerships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to service help strengthen the entire region.
Congratulations to The Joel Fund and everyone who helped make this vision a reality. I look forward to seeing the positive impact The Joel Center will have on veterans, military families, and our communities for years to come.
