Pike County Tax Assessors Board

The Pike County Tax Assessors Board will hold a Special Called Meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. at the Pike County Board of Commissioners Office Conference Room, 331 Thomaston Street, Zebulon, GA.

Executive Session only, germane to personnel.

🚧 Traffic Alert – New 3-Way Stop Installation 🚧

The Pike County Board of Commissioners approved the installation of a 3-way stop at the intersection of Melville Brown Road and Hunter Road during its June 28, 2026 meeting.

Today, Pike County Public Works will be installing “Stop Ahead” warning signs and stop signs at the intersection.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the area and be aware of the new traffic pattern once the signs are in place. Please watch for the new signage, reduce your speed, and help keep everyone safe.

UPDATE: 🚧

Pike County Public Works will be wrapping up a couple of final items on River Road today. Once the work is complete, River Road will be reopened to traffic.
