A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way to the Zanesville Jaycees. From a generous tip at a random concert in February to enjoying refreshments during the Summer Concert Series, every bit of support helps us make events like Stars & Stripes and Christmas for Kids possible.

Christmas for Kids provides local children with the Christmas they want—and deserve. At the end of the day, this is why we do what we do. 🎄❤️

Thank you to 630 Main for hosting us!

Today, we’re extra grateful for the chance to serve our community in a real, tangible way. Every Thanksgiving, the Zanesville Jaycees partner with local charities and organizations to help deliver Meals on Wheels to individuals, families and seniors right here in Zanesville. The Zanesville Jaycees C-Day is this Saturday! One of the easiest ways you can donate...call them to come to your house in Muskingum County on Saturday 9 a.m. to noon and they will pick up gently used clothes and toys for Eastside Community Ministry and non-perishable food items for Salvation Army. Call the clubhouse at (740)453-7889 to leave a message with address and donation details. Thanks to Zanesville Jaycees Secretary Lane Dailey for stopping by the studio with details about this great fundraiser partnership with WHIZ radio that began in 1949!

🎁📦 Get ready, Zanesville! It’s C-Day time!
On Saturday, November 22, 9 a.m.–12 noon, the Zanesville Jaycees will be rolling through town doing our annual pick-up of donations—non-perishable food, clothing, toys, and yes, we’ll also gratefully accept cash donations to help local families this holiday season.

Here’s how you can help:
✅ Non-perishables (food items only, please—no large furniture or TVs)
✅ Gather gently used clothes or toys you’re ready to pass along.
✅ Have some cash to spare? We’ll take that too—every dollar helps.
✅ Call our clubhouse ahead of time (or leave a voicemail) with your name, phone, address, and what you’re donating—so our crew knows where to stop.
✅ Questions or unsure? Contact us anyway—we’ll make a plan.

On Sunday, a special ceremony was held at Hole 15 of the Zanesville Jaycees Golf Course to dedicate a beautiful memorial bench in honor of Floyd Po***ck Jr.

The bench bears the inscription:

IN MEMORY OF FLOYD PO***CK JR.
FOUNDING MEMBER AND PAST PRESIDENT OF THE ZANESVILLE JAYCEES
DONATED BY THE FLOYD PO***CK JR. FAMILY

Floyd’s leadership, dedication, and community spirit helped shape the Jaycees and the many programs we continue today. This bench now stands as a lasting place of reflection and remembrance for a man who gave so much to the organization and to Zanesville.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Po***ck family for this meaningful and generous tribute. 💚
