Restoration Park Zanesville

Restoration Park Zanesville Restoration Park is located along the Muskingum River in the historic Putnam neighborhood.

It provides open space for a community garden and free community activities, including: outdoor movie nights, yoga, neighborhood gatherings, and more.

Our first movie night is tomorrow! We have one change to the schedule for tomorrow, The Wilds program has been moved to the July 10 movie night.
We are excited to host Shelby Spilker of Insect Sales tomorrow at 7 pm. Shelby will have examples of several interesting insects to share and talk about, including the Blue Death Feigning Beetle, which plays dead when it is picked up! You won't want to miss this fun and exciting program!
Diana Wilson will be doing face painting around 8 pm and we show the movie at dark.

Homeward Bound on Aug. 7

Free activities begin after 6 pm, movies start at dusk.
Learn about nocturnal animals from The Wilds in July!
Challenge yourself in an Indiana Jones-style obstacle course created by the Fieldhouse in July!
Meet animals from the Muskingum County Animal Shelter in August!
Happy Camper Hot Dog Truck on site each night Free popcorn available during the film!

The Weasel 200 is Back on May 16th!
We will start the 200-step race at 6:30 p.m. May 16, at Restoration Park on Muskingum Ave. and end up in the event room at Weasel Boy, where we will play games and have face painting available until we show a movie at dusk!
The entrance fee is $30 and supports the 2026 Movie in the Park series for Restoration Park.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt (if registered by April 30), a coupon that will allow them to receive one free drink at Weasel Boy Brewing Co. and free admission to the movie shown that night. Punch and sodas will be available for young participants and we will have free popcorn available during the movie.
Prior to the movie we will announce the exciting activities scheduled before each movie this summer.
